We're James and Melissa — a husband-and-wife woodworking team based in Stockton, California. Every board leaves our shop milled, glued, planed, sanded, and hand-finished by one of us. We use American hardwoods (walnut, maple, and cherry, mostly) because they age beautifully and cut like butter. No two boards are exactly alike, and that's the point.
